Resident Evil Village Gets Rid of Denuvo DRM on Steam

Capcom has quietly removed Denuvo DRM from Resident Evil Village on Steam. The anti-tampering tech is commonly used to prevent piracy but is notorious for causing performance issues on PC games. It took Capcom two years to get rid of the DRM, despite a pirated version from 2021 proving the difference in performance.
